Location: Stafford, TX, United States, 77477
Position Summary: Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment. Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Responsible for installation, commissioning, scheduled and emergency service on products.
What Will You Do?- Commissioning, installing, inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing customer equipment (turboexpanders).
- Instruct customers and sales personnel on operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Analyze complex problems in equipment and machinery and interpret maintenance manuals and system knowledge to isolate and correct faults.
- Consult product support and engineering personnel to determine solutions to complex system operation problems.
- Report customer suggestions on product improvement and existing product designs to the appropriate technical specialist.
- Take customer calls.
- Prepare proposals based on customer needs.
- Assist in developing design modifications.
- Implement modifications and provide installation support.
- Maintain service equipment, tools and documentation.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work inside & outside in either cold or hot climates.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Domestic and international travel 50% to 70% of the time.

- Lifting Your Experience Should Be...
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of working experience with rotating equipment, turbo machinery, turbo-expanders, and/or compressors.
- Good working aptitude for mechanical, hydraulic and control repair.
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits including PLC;
Allen‑Bradley, Siemens. - Excellent organizational, computer, and communication skills.
- Ability to interface with Engineering and Project Team.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
- Familiarity with other cultures and ability to effectively communicate with diverse cross‑cultural customers.
- Capable of working independently with little general supervision.
