- Receive, store, and issue equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, and tools. Compile stock records for stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
- Count, sort or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items from Purchase Orders.
- Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications.
- Determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
- Store articles in bins, on floor or shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
- Fill orders or issue supplies from stock.
- Maintain record of materials issued.
- Cycle counts - Weekly
- Run monthly report to maintain limited shelf-life material.
- Cut stock to fill order.
- Transport material or supplies to other departments.
- Deliver and pick-up material, as required.
- Maintain inventory and other stock records.
- Maintain office supplies on minimum/maximum level.
- Close out and sign off on completed work orders.
- Follow Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
- Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
- Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.
- Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate (including Strategic Planning, AIM, Suggestion box, etc.).
- Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.
- Cooperate with Auditors.
- Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree; or related experience and/or training; or combination.
- Valid Texas Drivers License
- Employee is frequently required to stand, stoop, sit, kneel, walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or
balance; and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Extended work hours and/or travel may occasionally be required.
