Position: Deputy Manager (Permanent)
Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Care (EBD)

Location:

Hinstock (TF9)

Salary: £37,512 – £40,287 DOE

Full-time | Includes shifts & sleep-ins

Introduction:

This Deputy Manager role offers a supported step into senior leadership within a stable, nurturing children’s home for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. You’ll work closely with the Registered Manager and team to help maintain a calm, consistent environment where children feel safe, valued and supported.

About the Role:

• Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home

• Lead shifts and provide continuity in the Manager’s absence

• Supervise and support staff through reflective practice

• Contribute to care planning with children and families

• Work alongside social workers, education and other professionals

• Support rotas, team meetings and quality standards

• Maintain safeguarding, reporting and regulatory requirements

• Encourage positive routines, education and activities for children

About You:

• Level 3 or 4 qualification in Residential Childcare

• At least 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care

• Experience supporting or supervising staff

• Calm, reflective and child-focused

• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
