Service Users: Children and Young People who have experienced early life trauma, neglect or abuse and may display challenging behaviours

The Home:
Our client operates a children’s residential home specialising in supporting young people who have experienced trauma, neglect and abuse. Who we are looking for:
An experienced and motivated Team Leader who can lead shifts effectively and support the team in delivering consistent, high‑quality care.

• Planning and leading shifts with Residential Support Workers
• Ensuring all risks are managed in line with company policies and procedures
• Communicating effectively with the team regarding daily plans
• Completing reports and documentation using paperless systems and tools
• Reviewing care plans and associated documentation
• Providing positive parenting
• Demonstrating strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
• Supporting children in a calm, empathetic and professional manner
• Participating in continuing professional development
• Contributing to a progressive and committed team culture

You must hold a full manual UK driving licence.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references prior to employment.

You will be working for our client, a rapidly expanding residential childcare provider committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

• You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car.
• You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent).
• Candidates with only Health Care, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered.
• You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available.
• Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.
