Qualifications

Required:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards

Senior-level experience within a Residential Children’s Home

The Home: Our client operates a children’s residential home supporting young people who have experienced trauma, neglect and abuse. The service is committed to delivering high standards of care in line with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.

Who we are looking for: An experienced and driven Registered Manager who can lead a residential home effectively, maintain compliance and inspire a team to deliver outstanding care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the residential home in accordance with legislation, policies and the Statement of Purpose
• Supporting staff to achieve the highest standards of care
• Leading recruitment processes including vetting, interviewing and inducting new employees
• Contributing to and overseeing team training and development programmes
• Promoting staff retention and organisational stability
• Liaising with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams and commissioning authorities
• Taking responsibility for communication with regulatory organisations
• Registering with the regulator and upholding all requirements and conditions of registration
• Participating in the on-call system
• Supporting continued professional development

You must hold a full manual UK driving licence.
