The Home: Our client operates a children’s residential home supporting young people who have experienced trauma, neglect and abuse. They are a rapidly expanding organisation offering a competitive salary, bespoke training package and generous sleep-in remuneration. The service is committed to delivering high standards of care in line with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
Who we are looking for: An experienced and driven Registered Manager who can lead a residential home effectively, maintain compliance and inspire a team to deliver outstanding care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the residential home in accordance with legislation, policies and the Statement of Purpose
- Supporting staff to achieve the highest standards of care
- Leading recruitment processes including vetting, interviewing and inducting new employees
- Contributing to and overseeing team training and development programmes
- Promoting staff retention and organisational stability
- Liaising with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams and commissioning authorities
- Taking responsibility for communication with regulatory organisations
- Registering with the regulator and upholding all requirements and conditions of registration
- Participating in the on-call system
- Supporting continued professional development
You must hold a full manual UK driving licence.
