Electrical Field Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site electrical engineering support, ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of electrical systems across various projects.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise technical expertise in a challenging environment, working closely with clients to deliver innovative solutions and maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.

Must have experience installing and commissioning EV chargers
Salary:
Up to £50,000 + Company Van + Benefits + Overtime Opportunities
Permanent position (no contracting)
This role is field based working across the UK and may require the very occasional over night stay (digs provided)

Responsibilities

* Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.

* Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

* Programme and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimise system performance.

* Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, providing exceptional customer service throughout project execution.

* Document technical procedures, system modifications, and test results accurately.

* Assist in training clients’ personnel on electrical systems operation and maintenance.

* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

* 18th Edition

* Full UK driving licence

* Gold card

* Installing and commissioning EV chargers
