Jetting Assistant​/Engineer

Position: Jetting Engineer (Van Pack Operator) – Operational Team, Manchester.

  Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week
• Salary: £12.71 to £13.00 per hour, dependent on experience

• Attending to customers, informing them of works due to be carried out and answering any concerns
• Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks or damage that could hinder water flow
• Reporting all findings and data to the appropriate teams
• Assisting with all aspects of high pressure water jetting
• Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems
• Adjusting pressure levels based on the condition of the system and the nature of the blockage (e.g., grease, debris, or tree roots)
• Using the equipment to remove waste materials and prevent build-up in drains and sewer lines
• Competent in using an electronic device – laptop or tablet – for data entry purposes
• Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures
• Performing routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order
• Assisting with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers

• Full UK driving licence (required)
