Salary £50,000 – £55,000 DOE; OTE £70,000 +.

Imperium Automation is expanding its dynamic team of Field Service Engineers across multiple geographic regions and OEM solutions. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer sites to ensure minimal downtime and excellent customer satisfaction.

• Provide shift cover and respond to breakdowns at multiple sites.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on material handling, storage retrieval systems, conveyors, packaging machinery, robotics, and related equipment.
• Assist with installations and projects predominantly at distribution centres.
• Communicate professionally with clients and integrated resident engineering teams.
• Offer flexibility to meet 24/7/365 reactive maintenance support requirements.

• NVQ Level 3 or Apprentice Trained Electrical / Multi‑Skilled.
• Good understanding of PLCs.
• Experience working in automated distribution centres.
• Sound awareness of risk assessment, method statements, permits and safe working practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Professional liaising with customers.
• IPAF trained and confident working at height, confined spaces.
• Ability to work independently and with a resident engineering team.

• Salary £50,000 – £55,000 (40‑hour week contract) OTE £70,000 +.
• Paid door‑to‑door travel.
• Overtime at 1.5.
