Title: Gov Con Billing Specialist (Government Contracting)

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting and Staffing is partnered with a growing organization in the government contracting space seeking a Gov Con Billing Specialist to support high‑volume, detail‑driven billing operations. This role is ideal for a candidate who understands government contract billing and thrives in a deadline‑oriented environment supporting project teams and accounting leadership.

• Prepare, review, and submit accurate invoices for government contracts (e.g., T&M, FFP) in accordance with contract terms
• Coordinate billing inputs with project teams (timesheets, expenses, funding, rates)
• Support accounts receivable tracking, collections follow‑up, and billing reporting
• Maintain billing documentation and support audits/compliance efforts
• Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy and efficiency

• Prior billing experience in a government contracting environment (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with Gov Con contract types (T&M, FFP)
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• ERP experience such as Unanet or Costpoint is a plus
