Discover an exciting contract opportunity tailored for experienced School Psychologists near Stafford, VA, within close proximity to the Washington DC area. This full-time assignment offers the flexibility of an on-site position, with the option for a 4/1 hybrid schedule, allowing one remote workday per week based on district needs. Engage with a diverse student population across one elementary and one middle school, contributing your expertise in assessment, consultation, and behavioral support throughout the academic year, from August 3, 2026, to May 26, 2027.

Qualifications
  • Possession of active Virginia Department of Education Certification
  • Valid Virginia Psychology Licensure
  • Recent experience in school-based psychological assessment and consultation
  • Familiarity with FBA/BIP processes and MTSS support preferred
  • Ability to collaborate occasionally with social workers on counseling services
  • Willingness to cover two school locations within northern Stafford
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students
  • Offer consultation to educators and families, supporting student success and behavioral interventions
  • Support Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Contribute as needed to MTSS initiatives
  • Collaborate within the school community, providing professional insights
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings
  • Initiate required credentialing steps quickly, including VA Department of Social Services background check and TB testing
