Supervisory General Engineer

Duties

You will represent senior engineering leadership, provide authoritative technical guidance across multiple programs, oversee complex engineering activities, and ensure projects satisfy established technical requirements and organizational goals.

You will oversee systems engineering efforts by directing test planning, reviewing requirements, confirming technical performance, evaluating designs, analyzing complete systems, and supporting accurate engineering documentation throughout delivery.

You will coordinate specialized technical experts, resolve challenging engineering issues, support project teams with informed guidance, and elevate unresolved technical concerns through the appropriate engineering leadership channels.

You will lead, develop, and sustain a skilled technical workforce by setting priorities, assigning work, evaluating performance, identifying training needs, and promoting accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.

You will plan and monitor work assignments, resolve employee concerns, recommend improvements to policies and procedures, conduct interviews, support hiring decisions, and prepare clear written and verbal recommendations for leadership.

You will strengthen organizational performance by improving management practices, supporting workplace inclusion initiatives, participating in management reviews, and encouraging continuous improvement across teams and engineering functions.
