A growing defense manufacturer is hiring a Head of Finance to lead and build its U.S. finance organization through its next stage of growth.
This is not a role where you inherit a finished playbook.
You will be the senior finance leader in the U.S., working directly with executive leadership while building the processes, controls, systems, and financial operating rhythm needed to support a scaling defense business.
There is already FP&A and bookkeeping support in place. The opportunity is to connect the pieces, build what is missing, and make the finance function your own.
What You’ll Own- Lead U.S. financial strategy, planning, forecasting, reporting, and overall financial performance.
- Oversee accounting operations, cash flow, budgeting, compliance, and financial controls.
- Build and improve finance processes, policies, SOPs, and systems as the organization scales.
- Partner across operations, inventory, supply chain, HR, and executive leadership on business decisions.
- Lead and develop the finance organization while partnering closely with international stakeholders and overseas teams.
- 8–12+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience with senior leadership responsibility.
- Strong command of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and full-cycle accounting.
- Demonstrated experience building or materially improving finance processes, systems, controls, or teams.
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on in a fast‑moving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Startup, scale-up, or other 0-to-1 / build-from-the-ground-up experience.
- Defense, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or complex hardware/product experience.
- Experience supporting inventory or manufacturing operations.
- CPA, MBA, or advanced finance/accounting degree.
- Experience working with international teams;
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Hebrew-language experience is a plus.
