Data Scientist

The Opportunity

As a data scientist at Booz Allen, you will uncover insights from structured and unstructured data, applying IoT, machine learning, and AI to solve global challenges across sectors such as fraud detection, cancer research, and national intelligence.

Use analytical and data‑science skills to build algorithms and systems that turn disparate data into actionable intelligence. Work closely with clients to understand their data needs, develop predictive models, and provide deep insights that guide decision‑making.

• 2+ years of experience in data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or mining
• 2+ years with statistical and general‑purpose programming languages for data analysis
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
• Experience developing predictive models and quantitative analyses
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Natural Language Processing
• Knowledge of text mining or machine learning techniques
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

• 2+ years of experience developing algorithms with R, Python, or SQL/No
  
  SQL
• 2+ years with distributed data or computing tools such as Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
• 2+ years with Machine Learning, AI, or NLP
• Experience with visualization packages such as Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
• Experience with Palantir platforms
• Experience with Advana or War Data Platform
• Master’s degree

The projected compensation range is $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD).
