Information Technology Specialist; APPSW) Security Clearance

Position: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (APPSW) with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will analyze and refine system requirements, translate user needs into application designs, and develop software solutions that meet technical requirements, customer needs, and operational objectives.
* You will plan and design system and application architectures, determine data and output formats, create user interfaces, and develop code while ensuring systems remain reliable, functional, and maintainable.
* You will manage or support complex technology projects by coordinating with internal and external organizations during planning, development, testing, implementation, and delivery of new or revised systems.
* You will conduct and manage system testing, including acceptance, unit, and quality testing, while resolving defects and ensuring applications meet required security, performance, and functionality standards.
* You will establish and maintain configuration management procedures, control system components throughout development, track changes, and maintain accurate records of approved configurations and software versions.
* You will provide technical support and user training, maintain system documentation, assist with security requirements, and coordinate with managers, sponsors, users, and technical staff to resolve system issues. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the

and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established time frames.
* This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role SYSTEMS REQUIREMENTS PLANNER, proficiency level BASIC the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
