Job Description
If you are an ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER with at least 1 year of successful experience with electronics and a strong aptitude for technology and detail this could be an excellent opportunity for you in the Clintwood/Stafford, VA area. Candidates must be U.S. eligible to qualify for security clearance due to the nature of the contracts for which this company is producing.
The hours for this role are a great 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off:
Mon-Thu 8-5:30 with other Friday off and the Friday shift ends at 4:30pm.
- 1+ years of electro-mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience working with electronics.
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience with soldering, wiring, troubleshooting, and assembly tools; PCBs are a strong plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to the nature of the company's contracts.
- New hires may be required to travel for specialized training either in the U.S. or internationally; availability to do so and a passport is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Electro-Mechanical Assembler supports the assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of high-quality electro-mechanical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role offers hands-on work with advanced assemblies while partnering closely with engineering and production teams to ensure precision and quality.
Good communication skills are required to read and understand instructions and safety procedures, to understand and comply with supervisory instructions and to communicate problems or difficulties.
