This is a full‑time, on‑site Oncology Breast Cancer Nurse Navigator position located in Fairfax, VA. The Nurse Navigator will guide patients through the complex journey of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, providing education, coordination, and support services. Key responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, facilitating communication with patients and their families, coordinating appointments and treatments, and serving as an advocate to ensure high‑quality, personalized care throughout the treatment process.
Qualifications- Strong foundation and skills in Oncology Nursing and Nursing
- Proficiency in Medicine and Patient Care
- Experience in Case Management and coordination of care
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; active RN license required
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is a plus
- Prior experience in oncology and/or nurse navigation is highly advantageous
