This role supports a program providing application design, development, enhancement, and implementation support to mission-critical law enforcement applications. These applications manage large data sets and indexes, support information sharing, data analysis, and electronic exchange to aid investigations and collaboration, identifying previously unknown connections and streamlining the processes for searching and utilizing available data sets.
Primary Functions for This Position- Design and develop testable code using C#, HTML, Blazor, and Entity Framework
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests
- Actively participate in Agile sprint planning and retrospectives
- Participate as a team member in sprint demonstrations and presentations to product stakeholders
- Must Hold Active Secret clearance
- Able to work across services, identify potential challenges, design and communicate solutions
- 3+ years of experience as a Software development experience, preferably with C# and .NET, Entity Framework
- Developing unit tests with NUnit, xUnit, or other frameworks
- Relational database design and development experience, preferably using SQL Server
- Experience developing web-based applications, including use of HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience developing or consuming services and RESTful APIs
- Experience developing with component-based frameworks such as Blazor, Angular, or React
- Experience working with AWS or Azure services and cloud technologies
- Experience working with an Agile team using Scrum, XP, Kanban, or other Lean development approaches
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, or Git Hub
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Desire to work in a collaborative and team-focused environment
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and solid troubleshooting ability
- Knowledge of Dev Ops techniques and approaches to software development
- Knowledge of Docker and containers
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration technology
- Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD)
