C#/.NET Developer

Stafford, VA (hybrid)

Pay From: $40.00 per hour

MUST:
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software development experience, preferably with C# , Entity Framework
  • Developing unit tests with NUnit, xUnit, or other frameworks
  • Able to work across services, able to identify potential challenges, design and communicate solutions
  • Relational database design and development experience, preferably using SQL Server
  • Experience developing web-based applications, including use of HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience developing or consuming services and RESTful APIs
  • Experience developing component-based frameworks such as Blazor, Angular, or React
  • Experience working with AWS or Azure services and cloud technologies
  • Experience working with an Agile team using Scrum, XP, Kanban, or other Lean development approaches
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, or Git Hub
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Dev Ops techniques and approaches to software development-preferred
  • Knowledge of Docker and containers-preferred
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration technology-preferred
  • Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD)-preferred
DUTIES:

The Developer will support the FBI program providing application design, development, enhancement and implementation support to mission critical law enforcement applications.

These applications are designed to manage large data sets and indexes and support information sharing, data analysis, and electronic exchange to support investigations and collaboration to identify previously unknown connections and streamline the processes for searching and utilizing available data sets.

Primary functions for this position include:
  • Design and develop testable code using C#, HTML, Blazor, and Entity Framework
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests
  • Actively participate in Agile sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Participate as a team member in sprint demonstrations and presentations to product stakeholders
