Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Floor Layer to join a long-term social housing contract covering the Staines area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an esablished maintenance contractor delivering responsive repairs, planned works, and refurbishments across residential properties.

You will be carrying out a wide range of flooring installations and repairs within occupied and void social housing properties, ensuring all works are completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.

• Installation of sheet vinyl flooring
• Cap and cove wet room flooring
• Ceramic tiling and floor repairs
• Subfloor preparation and screeding
• Applying self-levelling compounds
• Flooring repairs in kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas
• Measuring and cutting materials accurately
• Using PDA systems to update works
• Working closely with tenants and maintenance teams

• Salary up to £38,500
• Company van and fuel card
• Permanent position

• Proven experience as a Floor Layer
• Experience with in social housing or domestic properties preferred
• Skilled in sheet vinyl, cap and cove, tiling, and floor preparation
• Experience using screed and self-levelling compounds
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Own hand and power tools required
