Registered Nurse

Novant Health seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for diverse patient populations
• Administer medications and treatments safely following clinical protocols and policies
• Monitor, document, and report patient status using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and self-care strategies
• Maintain a safe environment, adhering to infection prevention and patient safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
• Support a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all patient and team interactions
• Patient assessment and triage
• Care planning and clinical decision-making
• IV therapy and venipuncture
• Medication administration and reconciliation
• Cardiac and vital sign monitoring
• Wound care and dressing changes
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation
• Infection prevention and control
• Patient and family education
• Interdisciplinary team collaboration

• Current RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred/required based on unit)
• Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, PCCN, or Med‑Surg) preferred
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency
