We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Python Developer to join our engineering team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing scalable applications and APIs using Python, with solid knowledge of backend development, databases, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an onsite environment.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
• Develop robust backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Work with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, Dev Ops engineers, and other developers.
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and technical discussions.
• Implement CI/CD practices and work with source-control systems such as Git.
• Support cloud-based application development and deployment.
• Ensure applications meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong SQL and database development experience.
• Experience with Git/Git Hub/Git Lab/Bitbucket.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks such as PyTest or unittest.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite and participate in a Face-to-Face interview in Charlotte, NC.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
• Experience developing event-driven applications.
• Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
• Experience with React, Angular, or other frontend technologies.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience working in financial services, banking, healthcare, or other enterprise environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Python engineer who can independently develop backend applications, work with APIs and databases, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and collaborate effectively with an onsite engineering team.
