Senior Accountant

Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing complex accounting activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and delivering accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

+ Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

+ Oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.

+ Ensure effective internal accounting controls and manage audit processes.

+ Mentor and support junior accounting staff.

+ Utilize accounting and data analytics software such as Microsoft D365, Oracle Net Suite, SAP, Power

BI, Quickbooks, SQL, and Workday to optimize financial processes

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or advanced certification is a plus.

+ Several years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, cash management, and reporting.

+ Proficient in modern accounting systems and financial analytics tools.

+ Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

+ Excellent collaboration, communication, and adaptability skills; commitment to ongoing learning is valued
