We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Family Office & Accounting Manager to oversee accounting and financial operations across a diverse portfolio, with a strong emphasis on real estate investments and project-based accounting. This hands‑on role will support high‑net‑worth individuals and manage multiple entities while partnering with internal teams, vendors, and external advisors.
Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month‑end close, and financial reporting
- Manage AP/AR processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness of transactions
- Maintain accounting records for multiple entities, real estate holdings, and investments
- Track project budgets, forecasts, expenses, and cash flow across active developments and initiatives
- Partner with project managers and stakeholders to ensure financial alignment and reporting accuracy
- Support family office financial activities, including budgeting, reporting, and expense tracking for high‑net‑worth individuals
- Coordinate with external accountants, vendors, advisors, and contractors
- Supervise AP/AR staff and help improve accounting processes and controls
- Prepare financial analyses and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a family office, real estate, or multi‑entity environment
- Strong real estate and project accounting experience
- Experience managing AP/AR functions and financial operations
- Familiarity supporting high‑net‑worth individuals and complex entity structures
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Net Suite and advanced Excel skills preferred
