Job Summary:

We are seeking a Contract Senior Accountant to provide leave of absence coverage and support advanced accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of accounting experience and a strong background in month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead month-end and year-end close activities

+ Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations

+ Analyze financial statements and supporting schedules

+ Assist with internal and external audit requests

+ Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate reporting

+ Identify and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner

+ Support process improvements and internal control adherence

+ Assist with special projects and cross-functional accounting support

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 6+ years of accounting experience required

+ Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting

+

Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close required

+ Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
