Job Purpose

Join our office in Stamford to manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring a high standard of professionalism and quality of service. Support the business to effectively meet targets and maintain standards in line with relevant accounting guidelines.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Support the management of a portfolio of account clients ensuring timely submission of financial statements and tax returns, ensuring timely completion of work, maintaining profitability.
  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships, including attending client meetings.
  • Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, charities and limited companies.
  • Produce year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in accordance with the relevant accounting standards.
  • Support the organisation of the flow of work, taking into consideration resourcing requirements.
  • Ensure that work is delivered with budget and time requirements.
  • Provide assistance in the development of junior staff.
  • Prepare schedules for tax returns.
  • Complete VAT returns.
Skills, Qualifications And Other Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • General Practice experience
  • Ability to travel to client premises and between offices
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, yet also work using own initiative when required.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
