A publicly traded, multi-segment financial services organization is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead all accounting operations and partner closely with the CFO. This is a high-impact, hands‑on leadership role with immediate responsibility and strong visibility to executive leadership, the Board, and Audit Committee.
This position is a backfill for a long-tenured leader and is critical to supporting a complex, evolving business with multiple operating segments and active M&A activity

- Lead all corporate accounting functions, including consolidations and eliminations across multiple business segments
- Own SOX compliance, audit readiness, and public company reporting requirements
- Design and enhance segment-level P&L and reporting architecture
- Oversee ERP and accounting systems, including enhancements and implementations
- Support acquisitions and integrations, including reporting and controls
- Serve as a board- and audit committee‑ready leader
- Build scalable GL and reporting structures to support future growth and divestitures
- Manage and develop the accounting team (Treasury Manager, Senior Accountant, and broader accounting function)
- CPA
- Big 4 background
- Public company experience
- Strong SOX, consolidation, and elimination expertise
- M&A / acquisition accounting experience
- ERP / systems implementation experience
- Executive presence and comfort presenting to senior leadership and the Board
- Near–partner track background
- Experience designing multi‑segment reporting models
- Tech-forward or AI‑first mindset
- Experience building reporting infrastructure from the ground up

- Base Salary: $200,000
- Target Bonus: $150,000 (annual)
- Total Target Comp: $350,000
- Equity / long‑term incentives planned (structure in progress)
