Fund Accountant/Sr Fund Accountant/Finance Associate/Sr. Finance Associate

A private equity firm specializing in partnering with businesses driving the global transition to sustainable energy. Their focus is on long-term investments that promote clean energy solutions and infrastructure development.

Location – Stamford, CT - 4 days onsite M-Th

• Responsible for coordination with the fund administrator and review of month‑end and quarterly accounting records including cash reconciliations, trial balances, allocations, expense accruals, management fees, and capital activities.
• Responsible for the review of all year‑end financial statements and timely completion of audit of the fund(s).
• Assist with cash management of funds including cash distributions, capital calls, and wire processes.
• Responsible for compliance with the subscription credit facility (subline), including review of interest calculations, fees, and timely submission of all compliance requirements.
• Prepare and review all cash distributions and associated waterfall calculations.
• Coordinate with various teams at the fund administrator to ensure that all corporate entities reconcile to the fund and comply with the reporting requirements of their respective jurisdictions, and work alongside the fund administrator to prepare and review financials for all UK entities in the funds.
• Prepare regulatory compliance filings (e.g., Form ADV and Form PF).
• Liaise with investor relations team regarding ad‑hoc investor requests.
• Complete ad hoc and special projects and initiatives as directed.

• 4+ years of experience in fund accounting for asset managers
• Undergraduate accounting degree with exceptional academic credentials
• Strong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting expertise (CPA is a plus but not required)
• Public Accounting preferred but not required.
• Experience with Luxembourg fund vehicles is preferred.
• Reliable team player with a positive mindset who values collaboration while maintaining the ability to work independently.
• Closed‑end investment infrastructure fund experience preferred.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
• Individual must be diligent and work well in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with investment track record reporting and valuation processes is a plus.
• A forward‑thinking, creative individual with high ethical standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines with great attention to detail.
• Experience with Investran is a plus.
• Experience using AI tools to streamline accounting, reconciliation, and reporting workflows, with a willingness to adopt new technologies, is a plus.
