Financial Reporting Accountant

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join corporate team with an established financial services organization. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with strong financial reporting experience looking to join a collaborative, high-performing team.

  Prepare quarterly and annual U.S. GAAP financial statements, including supporting schedules and disclosures
• .Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• .Prepare management reporting and financial presentations for senior leadership
• .Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and regulatory requirements
• .Support internal and external audits and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting
• .Assist with technical accounting initiatives and process improvement projects

• :
  
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• .5+ years of accounting experience with an emphasis on financial reporting
• .Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation
• .Experience with in financial services or public accounting serving financial services clients preferred
