** Staff Accountant
** We are looking for a highly motivated staff accountant to join our US Finance team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department by performing day-to-day accounting tasks, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. This position will require you to have a broad understanding of basic accounting principles, great attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, and excellent communication skills.
** Primary Responsibilities
*** Record and reconcile daily cash transactions across multiple bank accounts
* Process and record employee T&E expenses, ensuring proper coding and ledger reconciliation
* Monitor, process, and accurately post AP card expenses to appropriate GL accounts
* Record various journal entries and assist in maintaining the general ledger
* Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
* Prepare financial reports and schedules as needed
* Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
* Maintain organized financial records and documentation
* Assist in other accounting projects which includes cross collaboration with other teams in the Finance Department and help evolving our processes
* Manage workload efficiently by organizing, prioritizing, and executing tasks in a timely and high-quality manner
* Represent the Finance team with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
* 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
* CPA preferred or desire to obtain CPA license
* Understanding of Accounting and Financial Reporting principles and practices
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
* A strong sense of urgency, with the ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Solid analytical acumen
* Legally authorized to work in the US
