Senior Accountant

Job Summary : 2-3month contract CAN BE EXTENDED!

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support complex accounting activities, financial reporting, and close processes. This role will take ownership of reconciliations, account analysis, and process improvement initiatives while partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and experienced in a fast-paced accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead key aspects of the month-end and year-end close

+ Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

+ Analyze financial results and investigate fluctuations

+ Support preparation of financial statements and reporting packages

+ Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls

+ Assist with audit preparation and external auditor requests

+ Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows

+ Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Experience in accounting with progressive responsibility

+ Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and close processes

+ Ability to analyze complex account activity

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

+ Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet software
