We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support financial operations for an organization in the waste and environmental services industry. Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and enter payment details accurately into the accounting system.
• Review expense records for completeness, resolve discrepancies, and help maintain timely reimbursement and payment workflows.
• Reconcile account activity by comparing invoices, statements, and internal records to ensure financial accuracy.
• Respond professionally to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payment status, account details, and documentation needs.
• Maintain organized payable files and update records so financial information remains accessible and audit-ready.
• Assist with routine reporting and support month-end activities related to accounts payable transactions.
• Identify data inconsistencies and follow up with the appropriate parties to correct issues promptly.
