Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 + Bonus/Equity Potential
Our client is a fast-growing healthcare technology organization that has recently secured significant funding and is undergoing an exciting business transformation under a new executive leadership team. They are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to help modernize accounting operations, implement new systems, and support the company's continued growth.
Position OverviewThe Senior Accountant will play a critical role in transitioning accounting functions from outsourced providers to an internal team. This individual will take ownership of AP/AR processes, drive automation initiatives, improve financial processes, and support strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys building and improving processes.
Responsibilities- Own and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including billing and collections.
- Lead accounting process improvements and automation efforts utilizing platforms such as Quick Books, Ramp, and Rippling.
- Support month-end close activities and financial reporting.
- Perform financial analysis and operational analytics.
- Assist with R&D capitalization and commission accounting.
- Partner with leadership on audit preparation, tax support, and compliance initiatives.
- Develop, document, and maintain accounting procedures and process manuals.
- Help transition accounting operations from outsourced vendors to internal ownership.
- Support the implementation of scalable systems and processes that enable future growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Senior-level accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Experience supporting audits and working with external auditors.
- Proven experience with process improvement and system implementations.
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Experience implementing or utilizing Ramp, Rippling, and Quick Books.
- Experience working in a high-growth, turnaround, or transformation environment.
- Background in automation and AI-driven accounting processes.
