The Primo Brands Stamford based front desk receptionist manages the organization’s main reception area, providing professional customer service, administrative support, and smooth day‑to‑day operations. This role ensures visitors feel welcomed and inquiries are handled efficiently.

This is a full-time on-site position, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Salary: $24.96-$28.88/hr.

Responsibilities
  • Welcomes associates and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering and/or referring to inquiries and serving as the concierge to all guests.
  • Creates associate and visitor badges.
  • Keeps visitors’ appointments on schedule by notifying the Executive Assistant of visitors’ arrival; reviewing vendor service delivery compared to schedule and contacting vendor of service delays.
  • Establishes collaborative relationships with various constituent groups such as senior leadership, peers, and outside contacts.
  • Maintains an organized, detail‑oriented reception support process for the welcome reception desk area through communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Communicates clearly and manages multiple assignments and people simultaneously while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Coordinates backup phone coverage when away from desk or out of the office.
  • Performs clerical duties including filing, front desk reception management, responding to emails and preparing correspondence as needed.
  • Manages front desk receptionist responsibilities such as greeting all visitors, acting as a concierge, answering, screening, and forwarding calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Works with the mailroom clerk and outside vendors to coordinate upkeep and maintenance of the office site, including stocking inventory, ordering supplies when low, replenishing break room supplies, and opening and distributing mail and packages.
  • Maintains business documents using software applications and responds to email inquiries for the organization.
  • Facilitates work‑related errands as needed.
  • Coordinates closely with internal cross‑functional areas for support when needed and maintains confidentiality of senior leaders and their guests.
  • Is appropriately assertive, enthusiastic, self‑directed, and a team‑oriented consensus‑builder with a commitment to resourcefulness when working with senior leaders, clients, colleagues, vendors, and guests.
  • Works autonomously.
Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • 2+ years of administrative/reception support experience
  • Front desk receptionist/concierge experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication ability with a variety of constituent groups such as senior leadership, peers, and outside contacts
  • Ability to be in the office 5 days a week
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area and lobby
  • Experience operating office machines such as voicemail systems, photocopiers, scanners, and personal computers.
