Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Administrative Coordinator for a respected nonprofit environmental education organization in Stamford, Connecticut. This is a full-time, onsite temporary opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on organizational needs and performance. The Administrative Coordinator serves as a key member of the administrative team, providing comprehensive support to organizational leadership while coordinating educational programs, office operations, customer service, facility rentals, board meeting logistics, and special events.
This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting multiple departments in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to organizational leadership and program teams.
- Coordinate school programming, calendars, contracts, online registration systems, and participant communications.
- Track registrations, waitlists, surveys, reports, and program-related documentation.
- Coordinate facility rentals, vendor communications, office operations, and visitor reception.
- Support Board of Directors meetings, special events, bulk mailings, and additional administrative projects.
- Manage office supplies, provide basic technology support, and deliver exceptional customer service to families, schools, vendors, and community partners.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated professional who works well independently and collaboratively within a team.
