Job Description
Hospitality Director (Global Hospitality) for a Payment Services client. This role is responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs across North America, with a focus on the U.S., Canada, and Latin America/Caribbean. The position is based in Stamford, CT, but is flexible for candidates open to hybrid work (3 days in office) at one of our locations:
Stamford, CT;
New York, NY;
Charlotte, NC;
Chicago, IL;
Miami, FL; or Atlanta, GA.
- Serve as a reliable agency contact for client sponsorship, internal client departments, and agency partners.
- Oversee B2B Hospitality Programming across multiple regions and events, with a focus on the Americas.
- Act as the client liaison for Americas/B2B Hospitality and Product Service Integration.
- Manage a U.S.
-based team to plan and execute high-profile B2B events. - Integrate client products and services into sponsorship programs.
- Act as an experiential expert to ideate on innovative ways to convey client messaging through events and hospitality.
- Oversee B2B programming and executive onsite management.
- Manage finance trackers, budgets, and program reconciliations.
- Develop sales decks and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Support the agency experiences team as a key member of the hosting and hospitality vertical, bringing new insights and ideas to an evolving industry.
- 7–10 years of experience in hospitality or experiential marketing with proven management of VIP and executive groups.
- Strong leadership presence and effective communication across multiple mediums.
- People leader invested in team success, with an ability to build positive relationships internally and externally.
- Proactive, critical thinker who thrives under pressure.
- Not afraid to pitch in, roll up sleeves, and take initiative; able to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate key timelines.
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence and adaptability to various personalities.
- Results-driven and capable of working independently.
- Detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills and consistency across the team.
- Experience requiring discretion, judgment, tact, and poise; reliable and trustworthy.
- Ability to lead client meetings, staff planning, and keep all parties on task, on time and on budget.
- Ability to forecast and mitigate issues or challenges effectively.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, including weekends or holidays as needed; anticipated travel level: 45–55%.
