Role PurposeThe Strategic Operations Lead, reporting to the Group Chief of Staff and Head of Strategic Operations, will play a critical role in maximizing CEO and Group Executive Committee effectiveness and enabling disciplined enterprise-wide execution of Fnality’s Strategy. The role-holder will translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, decision-quality materials, governance rhythms, performance insights and follow-through mechanisms, ensuring leaders have the clarity, structure and information required to make timely decisions and deliver against enterprise prioritise.
Acting as a trusted partner to ExCo and senior leadership, the role will help drive organisational effectiveness, governance excellence, and operating model maturity across Fnality by establishing and managing the frameworks, processes, and disciplines required to support effective decision‑making, strategic planning, performance management, and organisational alignment.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, governance, operations, and organisational transformation, ensuring that strategic priorities are translated into clear actions, monitored effectively, and delivered through robust governance and operating structures.
This is a highly hands‑on role that combines strategic thinking with practical execution. The role-holder will take requests and priorities from the Group Chief of Staff, Head of Strategic Operations, Group Executive Committee and senior leaders, clarify the underlying need, and translate them into well‑defined requirements, deliverables and implementation plans. They will remain actively involved from initial scoping and stakeholder alignment through to execution, delivery and measurable follow‑through.
Key Responsibilities- Executive Governance & Operating Rhythm:
Support the ongoing management of the executive governance framework and operating cadence across the organisation, including identification and implementation of enhancements across weekly executive decision forums, monthly business reviews, quarterly strategy / portfolio reviews, annual planning cycles, decision logs, action tracking, escalation routes and follow‑up disciplines. - Strategic Planning & Business Management:
Lead coordination with the Finance team & Group ExCo leads to support the strategic planning and business management lifecycle. Work with functional leaders to translate the business plan and strategic objectives into initiatives, actionable plans, KPIs, risks and dependencies, ensuring performance reporting supports prioritisation, escalation and course correction. - Target Operating Model (TOM) Development & Implementation:
