Summer Intern: Operations Analyst - Corporate Physical Security

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team‑focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross‑functional projects and final presentations.

The CPS Operations Intern will play a key role in supporting the Communications, Operations, and Training (COT) team, providing initiative support, data insights, and creative input that align with CPS short‑and long‑term priorities. This role is designed for a motivated individual who is eager to gain experience in operational strategy, project execution, and organizational effectiveness, as well as exposure to the field of physical security.

The intern will contribute to projects that include incident response support, cross‑regional collaboration, and enterprise‑wide communication.

• Provide direct support to CPS leadership in managing COT functions across regional and enterprise‑level initiatives
• Maintain project trackers and consolidate team updates
• Develop and recommend tools, templates, and process improvements to streamline CPS operations
• Ensure consistency and clarity in internal communications, helping to align messaging and timelines
• Assist in drafting PPT decks, excel reports, & SharePoint content to strengthen communication within CPS leadership and across business unit partners
• Perform light data analysis to evaluate workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose actionable recommendations
• Build knowledge of physical security risks, both internal and external, and provide perspectives by analyzing trends, gaps, and emerging threats
