Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Description
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the logistical and administrative operations of construction projects, both on-site and off-site. The role supports the execution of new store construction, remodels, roll‑outs, and facility projects to ensure on‑time schedules, within budget, and in compliance with regulations and safety standards. This includes coordinating schedules, managing vendors, participating in the creation and award of vendor proposals, procuring materials, tracking project level finances, and maintaining communication among key project contacts and corporate stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution:
Coordinating schedules, managing vendors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. - Communication:
Acting as a liaison between project management, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project flow. - Documentation and Record Keeping:
Managing construction documentation, contracts, and other relevant paperwork. - Financial Tracking:
Monitoring all construction project finances, working with Finance Department to release deposits and payments to project vendors. - Procurement:
Ordering and tracking delivery and installations of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment for construction projects. - Issue Resolution:
Assisting in identifying and resolving construction‑related problems and discrepancies. - Punch List Management:
Managing development and closeout of all project punch lists and reporting status to all stakeholders. - System Platforms:
Working within Procore, Ecotrak, AutoCAD, Adobe, and MS Office. - Key Personality Traits:
Organized, Self‑Motivated, Supportive, Thoughtful, Multi‑tasker.
Reports to the VP of Development and Construction and works alongside Director of Design, Design Project Manager, Facilities Manager, Licensing Manager, External Design, Architectural, and Engineering Partners.
Competencies & Requirements- 2–4 years of experience working within a general contractor or architectural firm office.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe, and Microsoft Office software (or equivalent).
- Ability to travel to and work at project locations as needed.
- Starting at $85,000 annually, depending on experience.
