Position Overview
The Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout, serving as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders while managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project execution. This individual will work closely with field leadership, ownership representatives, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities Project Management- Manage projects from preconstruction through completion
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Monitor project performance and proactively address risks and challenges
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Prepare and manage project cost reports
- Review and approve subcontractor requisitions and invoices
- Track and manage change orders
- Maintain accurate project forecasting and reporting
- Lead subcontractor buyout and procurement efforts
- Coordinate subcontractor activities and project sequencing
- Conduct project meetings and maintain communication among stakeholders
- Partner closely with field leadership to drive successful project execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Participate in owner-architect-contractor meetings and provide project updates
- Oversee punch list completion and turnover activities
- Ensure closeout documentation, warranties, and as-built drawings are completed
- Facilitate successful project turnover and owner satisfaction
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction
- Experience managing K-12, higher education, healthcare, municipal, or institutional construction projects
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
