Superintendent – Commercial Construction (K-12) | Fairfield County, CT

Are you a Superintendent who enjoys leading large, complex projects from groundbreaking through closeout? An established, employee-focused commercial general contractor is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to lead a $50M ground-up K-12 project in the Fairfield County area.

• Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
• Manage daily coordination of subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
• Conduct daily site meetings, safety meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Oversee inspections, punch lists, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports, schedules, and quality control logs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Proactively identify and resolve field issues to keep the project moving forward.

• 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience leading ground-up commercial projects valued at $30M+.
• K-12, municipal, higher education, healthcare, or other institutional construction experience is highly preferred.
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors while maintaining a safe and organized jobsite.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software is a plus.
