Trainee Customer Service Adviser – Motor and Personal inc High Net Worth (Permanent Contract)

Location:

Stamford – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.15pm

Opportunity

We are looking for a Trainee Customer Service Adviser to join our friendly and supportive team in Stamford. No previous insurance experience is required – we provide full training and ongoing development to help you build a successful career. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to start your career in customer service, sales, or financial services.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage inbound customer enquiries and deliver a high‑quality, professional service
  • Generate and convert new business opportunities through effective questioning and rapport‑building
  • Actively promote and sell insurance products, contributing to individual and team targets
  • Build and maintain long‑term client relationships
  • Identify cross‑selling opportunities across the NFU Mutual product range
  • Support customers with policy changes, renewals and queries
  • Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently
About You
  • A strong interest in sales, customer service or financial services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence handling conversations both in person and over the phone
  • A proactive, target‑driven mindset
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge in a commercial environment
  • Competency with IT systems
