We are seeking an Intermediate Architect to join Accurate Lock & Hardware as an Architectural Product Specialist, helping translate architectural design intent into exceptional hardware solutions.
This role is ideal for an architect looking to move beyond traditional practice while remaining closely connected to the architectural process. Working at the intersection of design, technical documentation, and product development, this position collaborates with architects, designers, and internal teams to ensure our hardware solutions are thoughtfully integrated into projects from early concept through installation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO- Partner with architects and designers to develop and specify door and cabinet hardware solutions that align with the design vision of each project.
- Provide technical guidance and product expertise to support the specification process from early design through construction documentation and installation.
- Develop and maintain product resources including technical documentation, cut sheets, and Revit families/models used by architects and design teams.
- Review architectural drawings, details, and hardware schedules to ensure appropriate product application and coordination.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, production, and sales teams to translate architectural requirements into manufacturable hardware solutions.
- Serve as a technical resource on architectural door hardware standards, detailing, and best practices.
- Help improve the digital tools and documentation architects rely on to integrate our products into their projects.
- Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 3–8 years of professional experience preferred in an architecture firm, construction environment, or building products industry.
- Strong understanding of architectural documentation, detailing, and the construction process.
- Familiarity with Revit, including working with models and families.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, details, and hardware schedules.
- A passion for craft, materials, and well-executed architectural details.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both design and technical teams.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
