Miller Knoll’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their careers. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Miller Knoll’s Graphic Design Intern will work closely with the internal design team, merchandising, and marketing teams to bring campaign concepts to life. This role will proactively contribute to creative thinking for project needs.
What You'll Do- Research competitive landscape of branding within the premium to luxury modern home furnishings industry
- Research on modern design graphic references within home furnishings industry
- Assist graphic design team on routine layouts
- Assist graphic design team on creative concepting
- Maintain and organize marketing archive
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent organizational and file management skills
- Creative thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
- In‑depth understanding of aesthetics and cultural trends in interiors and home furnishings.
- Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn.
- Demonstrates professionalism, maturity, self‑awareness, empathy, and emotional intelligence while understanding business goals
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in business, corporate, or project strategy.
Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, Architecture or Product Design, or a related field.
You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (overall or within your program) to qualify for consideration in the Intern Program.
Qualifications- Must be authorized to work in the US and will not require sponsorship now or in the future.
