We are currently seeking a full-time Kindergarten teacher for the academic year. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our school community. In this role, you will play an important part in creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young learners. This is a wonderful opportunity for a motivated teacher to join a collaborative team and make a meaningful impact during a foundational year of learning.
Experience and Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in elementary education or a related field; advanced degree(s) preferable,
Teaching certification required.
Experience teaching phonics program (e.g., Fundations) and early literacy skills.
Experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged children
Patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor
A solid understanding of child development, diverse learning styles, and effective differentiation strategies
Well-developed, effective classroom management skills
Strong organization skills
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Works well in a collaborative model with other administrators, teachers, and parents
Experience with integrating technology into the classroom
Ability to engage and inspire students, parents, and families
