Position Summary

A leading early childhood education center in Stamford, Connecticut, is seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Early Childhood Education Teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through developmentally appropriate curriculum and positive interactions.

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote early learning and school readiness.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
• Supervise children throughout the day, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being at all times.
• Support children's social-emotional development by modeling positive behavior and conflict resolution skills.
• Observe and document children's developmental progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with families.
• Build positive relationships with parents and guardians through daily communication and parent conferences.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to maintain high-quality educational programming.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all state licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, toileting, naps, and transitions as appropriate for the age group.
