Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret global chemical regulations impacting products
- Lead and support substance registrations and notifications to regulatory agencies
- Conduct regulatory reviews for new product introductions and market expansions
- Provide regulatory and sustainability support for new product introductions
- Maintain documentation to support compliance audits and customer regulatory inquiries
- Partner with business unit leaders, sourcing and procurement, R&D, manufacturing sites to manage product compliance
- Develop and support best practices for minimizing exposure to employees and the environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Chemistry, Toxicology, Industrial Hygiene or related field
- 7+ years of North, South America experience in global regulatory compliance, environmental management, product stewardship or sustainability
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, industrial hygiene regulations including emerging PFAS requirements
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Ability to execute risk management initiatives and long-term projects
- Experience authoring global SDSs, global GHS implementation and chemical hazard classification
- Proven track record in developing environmental compliance, ISO 14001 management systems and sustainability initiatives
