Senior Project Manager - Manufacturing; PMP

Senior Project Manager Role with Nationwide Manufacturing Leader / $175,000 - $225,000 per year depending on Experience / Room for Growth and Green Benefits

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of complex manufacturing and engineering projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Manage cross‑functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors.
• Oversee facility expansion, equipment installation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
• Review engineering documentation, technical deliverables, and contractor work.
• Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and productivity.
• Mentor project team members and promote collaboration across departments.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Capital Engineering Experience.
• PMP certification is REQUIRED.
• 8+ years of project management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience leading complex capital projects, facility expansions, or major equipment installations.
• Experience working with both mechanical systems and chemical or industrial manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and resource management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and technical presentation skills.

• Brownfield expansion projects.
• Heavy industrial, process manufacturing, or chemical manufacturing environments.
• Managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction contractors.
• Working directly with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
