Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor engineering staff to design, implement, maintain, enhance and troubleshoot product delivery platforms
• Direct engineering support across system locations for both established and emerging technologies while ensuring adherence to operating standards
• Collaborate with Construction, Dispatch, Warehouse, Technical Operations and Care operations to optimize customer experience
• Advise managers on technical operations and strategic planning for network rebuilds, operations, and new product development and deployment
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, policies and procedures and maintain relations with local utilities, vendors, contractors and government agencies
• Oversee capital budget processes to ensure projects are cost-effective, on schedule and within budget
• Provide quality assurance guidance to engineering staff in accordance with technical quality assurance standards and FCC regulations
• Develop an effective front-line leadership team and support their growth to drive high performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of project management and leadership work experience
• 3+ years of related leadership experience
• 7+ years of engineering fiber/coax or networking experience
• Strong understanding of 5G architecture including Core and RAN components
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis tools
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and operational workflow
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure
