**** position summary:
** this position is responsible for supervising the bankers and front window cashiers.
** primary duties and responsibilities****:
** includes but not limited to:
* assists the cashiering operations shift manager with daily operations including supervising, training and counseling of employees
* ensures compliance with casino regulatory rules and regulations as well as casino internal and accounting controls in order to safeguard the company's assets
* handles customer service and employee related problems professionally
** secondary duties and responsibilities:
*** assumes cashiering operations shift manager’s responsibilities, in their absence
* works a variety of jobs in the department, as needed
** minimum education and qualifications:
*** high school diploma or equivalent
* two years of casino currency handling experience
** competencies:
** incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
* good written and verbal communication skills
* good organizational and multi-tasking skills and the ability to delegate tasks
* knowledge of the front windows and banks
* knowledge of casinos computer management system
** training requirements:
*** must attend all appropriate human resources supervisor training classes
* knowledge of outlook, acsc, nrt/certegy and erp computer systems
* knowledge of the casino computer management system
** physical demands and work environment:
*** must be able to work in a smoking environment
* must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
* must be able to stand for extended  periods of time
