Strategic Advisor to CFO

A highly sophisticated credit investment firm is looking to hire a senior-level finance leader to sit directly within the Office of the CFO. This is a unique, high-impact individual contributor role designed to act as an extension of the firm’s CFO.

The role will focus on finance transformation, strategy, and execution, taking ownership of high-priority initiatives that typically sit with the CFO but require dedicated leadership and follow-through. This individual will operate on a project-by-project basis, touching every aspect of the finance and operations ecosystem, from systems and data to accounting, reporting, and process redesign.

This is a true “right-hand to the CFO” role with a permanent seat at the table and broad visibility across the firm.

• Partner directly with the CFOs on finance transformation and strategic initiatives
• Lead firm-wide projects across accounting, fund finance, data, systems, and reporting
• Evaluate, select, and help implement new financial systems and tools
• Redesign and improve finance and operational processes for scalability and efficiency
• Conduct research and benchmarking on best practices across the industry
• Act as a key participant in meetings typically attended by the CFO
• Serve as a senior problem solver on complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Provide hands-on execution support where needed (individual contributor)

• $400,000 - $600,000 Total Compensation

12+ Years of Executive-Level Fund Accounting or Fund Finance Experience Required

Larger In-House Fund Experience Preferred (Doesn t need to be current)
